What is the Grid & Pixel MCP server?

The Grid & Pixel MCP server connects your G&P account to ChatGPT or Claude through the Model Context Protocol. Describe the email or real-video GIF you want in your AI chat. G&P’s existing creative agents produce and save the work, then return previews, downloads and an editor link.

Do I need Shopify or Klaviyo connected?

Not for website-led creative. Shopify and Klaviyo are optional. Start with your G&P account and a public website. Connect Shopify for live catalog context; Klaviyo is not required to create an email draft.

Does it use actual video to make the GIF?

Yes. The animated GIF comes from usable video on your website or an MP4 you upload. Choose the clip and adjust its length in chat. If your website has no usable footage, upload a video or start with a static email.

Can I keep editing after the first version?

Yes. Ask for another clip, a shorter GIF or different featured products in the same conversation. G&P revises the same saved email and preserves earlier assets. You can also open the email in the G&P editor and continue there.

Will it send or schedule emails for me?

You can send a test preview to your inbox after reviewing the email and confirming the recipients. Send or schedule campaigns from G&P.

What do I need to get started?

Use your G&P account, or create one at gridandpixel.com. In ChatGPT or Claude, add the server URL and sign in to G&P. Then share your website and brief. Your assistant must support custom MCP connections.
